CRC 1357 Microplastics Events at the Water Month March

A month dedicated to water in the Bayreuth region and the Main FlussFilmFest along the Main River.

On 12 March, Dr Johanna Schmidtmann will give a lecture on ‘Microplastics in water’ and explain ‘where the journey of these tiny particles takes them’. Afterwards, Jona Schmitt will guide visitors to and through the marine aquarium with its animal and plant inhabitants.

This year, as part of the FlussFilmFest in Bayreuth, Würzburg and Lichtenfels, there will again be a special children's film programme, followed by microscopy stations and a water cycle throwing game organised by the Bavarian State Office for the Environment and the Government of Lower Franconia.

And at the FlussFilmFest in Bayreuth on 13 March, Dr Johanna Schmidtmann will take part in a film discussion alongside other experts.

Ein Monat im Zeichen des Wassers in der Region Bayreuth und das MainFlussFilm Fest entlang des Mains. (Link zum Programm)
Dr. Johanna Schmidtmann wird am 12.März einen Vortrag über „Mikroplastik im Wasser“ halten und erklären „wohin die Reise der kleinen Teilchen geht“. Anschließend wird Jona Schmitt die Besucher zum und durch das Meeresaquarium mit seinen tierischen und pflanzlichen Bewohnern führen.

Auch dieses Jahr wird es im Rahmen des FlussFilmFest in Bayreuth, Würzburg und Lichtenfels ein extra Kindefilmprogramm und danach Mikroskopier-Stationen und ein Wasserkreislauf-Wurf-Spiel des Landesamts für Umwelt Bayern und der Regierung Unterfranken angeboten.
