Jan-Pascal Boos, Franz Dichgans, Jan Fleckenstein, Ben Gilfedder and Sven Frei have received the Editor’s Choice Award 2024 from the journal Water Resources Research Journal for their open access paper “Assessing the Behavior of Microplastics in Fluvial Systems: Infiltration and Retention Dynamics in Streambed Sediments”. Each year, the Editors of Water Resources Research select only about 9-10 articles for this distinction, highlighting work of outstanding quality and significance for the field.
